Dust off your boots - Montana’s calling

Our wedding weekend will be set against the wide-open skies of Bozeman, Montana - where the mountains meet the meadows, and formality takes on a little western flair. Below, you’ll find everything you need to plan your stay and make the most of your time under the Big Sky.

Bozeman

Bozeman wears its cowboy boots with confidence and its charm effortlessly. Think fly-fishing streams, small-town coffee shops, well-worn denim, and mountain air that feels fresh from the source.
In August, expect warm days, cool evenings, and sunsets that stretch across the sky — the kind that make you slow down and stay a while.

Average Temps: Highs in the 80s°F, Lows in the 50s°F
Dress Code: A little bit tailored, a little bit trail-ready, boots encouraged, bolo ties optional.

Glamping at Heritage Ranch

We invite you to stay right where the celebration unfolds — at Heritage Ranch — in one of their luxury glamping tents nestled under the Montana sky.

Each tent is beautifully furnished with cozy linens, thoughtful touches, and that perfect balance of western charm and quiet elegance. Think Ralph Lauren ranch retreat, not summer camp.

Tents 4–12 might still be available — ideal for couples or small groups who want to stay close to the celebration and soak in the Montana air from sunrise to starlight.

Stay in Bozeman

Bozeman offers everything from luxe boutique hotels downtown to rustic lodges that smell faintly of pine and whiskey. We recommend booking early — summer is high season in Montana.

Our Picks:

  • Kimpton Armory Hotel – A chic downtown stay with rooftop views, a pool, and cocktails worth writing home about.

  • The Lark – Modern western vibes, right in the heart of Main Street.

  • RSVP Hotel – (Yes, that’s really the name.) Stylish, minimal, and perfect for photo ops.

  • Airbnb / VRBO – Belgrade and Four Corners are both within 15–20 minutes of downtown Bozeman for finding your perfect stay.

Pro tip: If you plan to explore Yellowstone or Big Sky while you’re here, a rental cabin might make for the perfect mini escape.

Getting there

Bozeman is as easy to reach as it is hard to leave.
Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) is just 15 minutes from downtown, the venue and welcomes direct flights from most major U.S. cities (Atlanta, Denver, Dallas and more).

If you’re the road trip type, the drive alone is worth it. Expect postcard-worthy views and maybe a few cows with better hair than you’ve had in years.

Flying

Book early — August is Montana’s busiest season.
If you’re flying in from out of state:

  • Delta, United, American, and Alaska Airlines all service BZN regularly.

  • Car rentals are available on-site, though booking in advance is strongly encouraged.

  • Uber and Lyft are available, but limited — this is cowboy country, not city rush hour.

Getting around

Bozeman is charmingly compact, so if you’re staying downtown, you can stroll to shops, cafés, and the best local brunch spots.
For wedding events and exploring beyond town:

  • Rental Cars: Best option for full flexibility.

  • Local Shuttles / Rideshares: Limited but available; we’ll share weekend-specific transport details closer to the date.

  • Horseback: Technically possible
